Good to know
- Custom connectors work on Claude Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. Free accounts can add one.
- On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds the connector first under Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web. Members then connect their own accounts.
- Remote connectors belong to your Claude account, so the same connection shows up in Claude Desktop and Cowork. Requests come from Anthropic's cloud, not your computer.
What can Claude do with Semrush?
Claude reads your Semrush numbers, explains what moved and turns the answer into an artifact you can share.
Using Semrush keyword gaps against our three main competitors, build a content plan as an artifact: topics, the keywords in each, total search volume and which page to write.
Done. 6 topics, 212 keywords, about 96,000 searches a month. Tent care leads, then camp cooking. The artifact suggests one new guide per topic.

Which pages lost the most Semrush positions this month, and what changed in the results above us?
The sleeping bag guide fell from 3 to 9. Two competitors published updated 2026 guides and a video result now sits above us.

List our pages ranking 4 to 15 for keywords over 2,000 searches, with the gap to position 3 for each.
17 pages. Six are over 18 months old, and refreshing those covers 61% of the search volume on the list.

Compare our organic keywords and estimated traffic with our three main competitors over the last 6 months, as an artifact.
Done. We're third in traffic but growing fastest, up 22% since May. The leader's growth comes almost entirely from one buying guide.

Which keywords dropped out of the top 10 for us in the last 30 days, sorted by search volume?
14 keywords left the top 10. The biggest is "2 person tent" (18,100 searches), down from 4 to 12 after a competitor published a new buying guide.

Google Ads keywords with spend last month next to our Semrush position for the same keyword.
We spent $3,400 on 19 keywords where we already rank in the top 3 organically. Brand terms are $2,100 of that.
