Why connect GA4 to Claude?

GA4 makes you click through explorations to answer simple questions. Claude with Lemonado reads sessions, key events and landing pages directly, explains what moved and puts your ad spend next to it.

  • All your GA4 data

Sessions, users and engagement, ready to ask about.

  • Always today's numbers

Landing pages and page paths, synced from GA4 automatically, so answers use today's numbers.

  • Connect all your tools

Questions like "What does a conversion cost by channel?" use GA4 and Google Ads, Search Console at once.

Good to know

  • Custom connectors work on Claude Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. Free accounts can add one.
  • On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds the connector first under Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web. Members then connect their own accounts.
  • Remote connectors belong to your Claude account, so the same connection shows up in Claude Desktop and Cowork. Requests come from Anthropic's cloud, not your computer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not on its own. Add Lemonado as a custom connector, connect your GA4 property in Lemonado, and Claude can query it in any chat. Google's own Analytics MCP server runs locally and needs a Google Cloud project, so it doesn't work on claude.ai unless you host it.

Not easily. Google publishes an open-source Google Analytics MCP server (googleanalytics/google-analytics-mcp on GitHub). It's free, read-only and labeled experimental. It runs locally and needs a Google Cloud project with the Analytics Admin and Data APIs turned on. Claude needs a remote server, so you'd have to host it yourself. Lemonado is already hosted: add one URL and sign in.

In Claude, open Customize → Connectors and check that Lemonado says Connected, then switch it on from the connectors menu in the chat. In Lemonado, check that Google Analytics is connected and External tools is on for the company. If numbers look low, check that you picked the GA4 property for the right site. GA4 can take a day or two to finish processing recent data.

Yes, if both are connected in Lemonado. One connection reaches every source you allow, so you can ask things like "Cost per GA4 conversion by channel, using Google Ads and Meta spend."

MCP is included in Lemonado's paid plans and in the free trial, so you can try it before you pay.
