Partner terms

These Partner Terms and Conditions govern participation in the Lemonado Partner Program operated by Lemonado AB ("Lemonado", "we", "us", or "our").

By applying to, joining, or participating in the Lemonado Partner Program, you agree to these terms.

1. Program participation

The Lemonado Partner Program allows approved partners to promote Lemonado and refer potential customers to our products or services.

We may approve, reject, suspend, or remove any partner from the program at our discretion. Participation in the program does not guarantee that any referral, sale, reward, commission, or other benefit will be approved or paid.

Partners are responsible for keeping their account information accurate and for complying with these terms and any other program rules we provide.

2. Referrals and tracking

A referral is only eligible if it is made in accordance with these terms and any program rules we provide.

Partners must use the official referral links, codes, or tracking methods provided by Lemonado. Referrals that are not properly tracked through our approved systems may not be eligible for credit.

Partners may not refer themselves, their own accounts, their own businesses, or accounts they control. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, and attempts to artificially create referral credit are prohibited.

Referrals for existing customers, prior leads, or people already in an active buying process with Lemonado may be excluded from eligibility.

We reserve the right to review, approve, reject, reverse, or adjust any referral that appears fraudulent, abusive, incorrectly tracked, or inconsistent with these terms.

3. Promotion rules

Partners must promote Lemonado honestly, clearly, and in a way that reflects positively on our brand.

Partners may not use paid advertising to promote Lemonado without our prior written approval. This includes paid search, paid social, display ads, sponsored placements, native ads, and similar paid traffic sources.

Partners may not bid on, target, or purchase advertisements using Lemonado's name, product names, trademarks, misspellings, branded keywords, or confusingly similar terms.

Partners may not promote Lemonado through coupon sites, deal sites, cashback sites, loyalty platforms, discount extensions, or similar services without our prior written approval.

Partners may not use spam, purchased lists, scraped contacts, bots, automated bulk messages, or unsolicited outreach to promote Lemonado.

Partners must clearly disclose their relationship with Lemonado when promoting us. Any endorsement, review, post, video, email, or other promotional content should make it clear that the partner may receive compensation.

Partners may not make false, misleading, exaggerated, or unsupported claims about Lemonado, our products, pricing, discounts, results, guarantees, or relationship with the partner. Partners may not imply that they are employees, agents, or official representatives of Lemonado.

Partners are responsible for ensuring that their promotional activity complies with applicable laws, advertising rules, privacy requirements, and platform policies.

4. Brand usage

Partners may only use Lemonado's name, logo, screenshots, trademarks, and other brand assets in connection with approved promotion of the program.

Partners may not register, purchase, or use domains, subdomains, social handles, ads, search keywords, business names, app names, or other identifiers that include Lemonado's name, trademarks, misspellings, or confusingly similar terms.

Partners may not create websites, landing pages, profiles, or materials that appear to be owned, operated, or officially controlled by Lemonado.

We may ask partners to update or remove any content, brand usage, or promotional material that we believe is inaccurate, outdated, misleading, or inconsistent with our brand.

5. Compliance and enforcement

We may monitor partner activity to protect our customers, brand, and program. We may suspend or terminate a partner's participation at any time if we believe the partner has violated these terms, abused the program, or acted in a way that may harm Lemonado.

Prohibited activity includes fraud, fake traffic, cookie stuffing, forced clicks, hidden redirects, attribution manipulation, impersonation, misleading claims, self-referrals, spam and unsolicited outreach, illegal activity, or any other behavior we consider abusive or harmful.

If a partner is suspended or terminated, they must stop using our referral links, brand assets, and program materials. We may withhold, reverse, or cancel any referral commissions associated with a violation of these terms.

6. Standard legal terms

Confidentiality

Partners may receive non-public information about Lemonado, our customers, products, offers, roadmap, pricing, program performance, or business operations. Partners must keep this information confidential and may only use it to participate in the program.

Independent contractor relationship

Participation in the program does not create an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, franchise, or fiduciary relationship between the partner and Lemonado AB. Partners may not make commitments or representations on our behalf.

Non-exclusivity

The program is non-exclusive. We may work with other partners, affiliates, creators, agencies, and referral sources. Partners may also work with other companies, provided they comply with these terms.

Indemnification

Partners agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lemonado AB from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from their promotional activity, content, breach of these terms, violation of law, or misuse of our brand assets.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lemonado AB will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption arising from the program.

No guarantee

We do not guarantee that participation in the program will result in traffic, referrals, customers, revenue, commissions, or any other benefit.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms or the program rules from time to time. Continued participation in the program after changes are made means the partner accepts the updated terms.

Governing law location

These terms and any related disputes will be governed by the laws of Stockholm, Sweden, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.

7. Payout compliance requirements

Partners are responsible for any taxes, reporting obligations, and other requirements that apply to payments they receive through the program. Before receiving payments, partners may be required to complete tax forms, identity verification, sanctions screening, payout provider onboarding, or other compliance checks. We may withhold payments until these requirements are completed.
