Why connect Meta Ads to Cursor?

If your team keeps notebooks or a reporting app in a repo, Cursor can now fill them with real Meta Ads numbers. The agent queries spend, CTR and frequency by creative through Lemonado and writes the code that charts them.

  • Your whole Meta Ads account

Campaigns, ad sets and ads, ready to ask about.

  • Always today's numbers

Spend, reach, frequency, CTR and CPM, synced from Meta Ads automatically, so answers use today's numbers.

  • Connect all your tools

Questions like "Do Meta and GA4 agree?" use Meta Ads and Google Ads, TikTok Ads at once.

    }
  5. 5

Cursor asks you to sign in to Lemonado. Approve access, then ask the agent about your data.

  6. 6

    Ask Cursor about Meta Ads

Try "Replace the mock data in components/CreativeTable.tsx with last month's real Meta Ads numbers by ad, as a typed fixture." Or ask: "Does the pixel match?" or "How did each ad perform?"

Good to know

  • Editing the file directly avoids relying on menu labels that change between Cursor versions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Add Lemonado to Cursor's mcp.json and the agent can query your Meta ad accounts without you touching the API. Building on the Marketing API directly means a Meta app, access tokens and rate limits to manage.

Yes. Meta's official Ads MCP server is hosted, so Cursor can use it too. It covers Meta only. Lemonado covers Meta plus Google Ads, GA4 and TikTok in one connection, so Cursor can compare channels in one question.

Open Cursor's settings and find lemonado in the MCP list. A red dot or a sign-in prompt means the login expired. Restart Cursor after editing mcp.json. In Lemonado, check that Meta Ads is connected and External tools is on for the company. If an ad account is missing, check that your Facebook user has access to it in Business settings, then reconnect Meta Ads in Lemonado.

Yes, if both are connected in Lemonado. One connection reaches every source you allow, so you can ask things like "Compare Meta's reported purchases with GA4 purchases from paid social for the last 30 days."

MCP is included in Lemonado's paid plans and in the free trial, so you can try it before you pay.
