Connect Meta Ads to Codex

  • Can I rerun this in CI?

Have Codex use your Meta Ads data to check Meta purchases against GA4, then rerun it any time with codex exec. Lemonado connects them in about 1 minute, no API keys needed.

Why connect Meta Ads to Codex?

Codex runs in your terminal, its IDE extension and scripts, so what it finds once can be rerun with codex exec instead of redone by hand. Connected through Lemonado, it reads your Meta Ads ad sets, creatives, frequency and ROAS, so it can check Meta purchases against GA4 with today's numbers.

  • Your whole Meta Ads account

Campaigns, ad sets and ads, ready to ask about.

  • Always today's numbers

Spend, reach, frequency, CTR and CPM, synced from Meta Ads automatically, so answers use today's numbers.

  • Connect all your tools

Questions like "Do Meta and GA4 agree?" use Meta Ads and Google Ads, TikTok Ads at once.

What can Codex do with Meta Ads?

Codex reads your Meta Ads data from your terminal and turns one-off questions into commands you can rerun with codex exec.

Codex logoCodex

Pull last week's Meta Ads numbers, save them to data/meta-weekly.csv and give me the codex exec command to refresh it.

Saved data/meta-weekly.csv. Run the same prompt with codex exec in a scheduled job and the file refreshes with each week's numbers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, through Lemonado. Connect your Meta ad account in Lemonado, add Lemonado in ~/.codex/config.toml, and Codex can check Meta purchases against GA4 with your live data.

Yes. Meta's official Ads MCP server is hosted, so Codex can use it too. It covers Meta only. Lemonado covers Meta plus Google Ads, GA4 and TikTok in one connection, so Codex can compare channels in one question.

Run codex mcp list. If lemonado shows as not logged in, run codex mcp login lemonado again. In Lemonado, check that Meta Ads is connected and External tools is on for the company. If an ad account is missing, check that your Facebook user has access to it in Business settings, then reconnect Meta Ads in Lemonado.

Yes, if both are connected in Lemonado. One connection reaches every source you allow, so you can ask things like "Compare Meta's reported purchases with GA4 purchases from paid social for the last 30 days."

MCP is included in Lemonado's paid plans and in the free trial, so you can try it before you pay.
