Is there an official Meta Ads MCP server?

Yes. Meta hosts an official Ads MCP server at mcp.facebook.com/ads, in open beta since April 2026. It covers Meta only and can create and edit campaigns. It's a good default if Meta is your only channel.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Facebook and Instagram ads both run through Meta Ads, so a Meta Ads MCP is a Facebook Ads MCP. Connect your Meta ad account once and ask about Facebook and Instagram campaigns together.

Connect your Meta ad account in Lemonado, turn on External tools, and add Lemonado to Claude or ChatGPT. Each guide on this page has the exact steps. Choose the ad accounts you want from the Business Manager your Facebook login can see. Then ask something like "Which ads have frequency over 4 and a falling CTR, and how much did they spend this week?"

Yes. It's a standard remote MCP server (https://mcp.lemonado.io/mcp): one command in Claude Code, one entry in Cursor's mcp.json, and an MCP Client Tool with a Lemonado token in n8n. In a coding agent, try "Compare the Meta pixel events we fire in the code with the conversion events Meta Ads reports. Which ones are missing or misnamed?"

Yes. Besides answering in Claude or ChatGPT, Lemonado runs Meta Ads reports and alerts on a schedule, in Slack or email. For example: "Every day, flag ads with frequency over 4 and CTR down 30% from their first week. Suggest which to pause."

Both. It reads your Meta Ads data and can pause an ad or change an ad set budget once you approve. You choose which actions are on, and whether each one asks first.

If Meta is your only channel, Meta's official Ads MCP server is a good default. If you also run Google Ads or TikTok, or report from GA4, Lemonado is the better fit: one connection covers Meta and the rest of your stack, scoped per client for agencies, and works in Claude, ChatGPT and any MCP client.

Use one MCP server that reaches both. Google and Meta each publish their own server, but each covers one platform, and Google's runs locally. Lemonado connects Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4 and 3,000+ other tools through one URL that works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients, so you can compare channels in one question.

Lemonado reads your live Meta Ads data, including creatives, frequency and cost per result, and answers questions about it in plain English, in its own app or in Claude and ChatGPT through its MCP server. It also puts Meta next to Google Ads and GA4 in the same answer, which Meta's own tools can't do.

Lemonado. Connect your ad accounts once, including Meta Ads, then ask in the Lemonado app, in Slack, or in Claude and ChatGPT through its MCP server. Answers come from your live data in Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4 and 3,000+ other tools.

Lemonado Routines. Describe the alert once, for example "post in #ads when cost per purchase goes 30% over the 7-day average", and Lemonado checks on a schedule and posts in Slack with the campaign behind the jump.

MCP is included in Lemonado's paid plans and in the free trial, so you can try it before you pay.
