What is the Amplitude MCP server?

Lemonado's Amplitude MCP server gives Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps your Amplitude data: events, user properties, cohorts, funnels and retention. Connect Amplitude to Lemonado, connect Lemonado to your AI, and ask product questions in plain words. Because Google Ads, Meta and LinkedIn sit on the same connection, you can follow a user from the campaign that brought them to whether they're still active a month later.

  • All your Amplitude data

Events and event properties, ready to ask about.

  • Always today's numbers

Cohorts and their sizes over time, synced from Amplitude automatically, so answers use today's numbers.

  • Connect all your tools

Questions like "Which campaigns keep users?" use Amplitude and Mixpanel, PostHog at once.

Connecting takes minutes.

Among users who signed up in September, which first-week actions are most common in people still active in week 4?

Users who shared a report in week 1 retained at 52%, against 19% for everyone else. Inviting a teammate is the second-strongest signal.

  • Your whole stack in one connection

  • No API keys or servers

Sign in once. Nothing to install, host or keep alive.

  • Scoped to each client

Each connection only reaches the clients you allow. Built for agencies.

  • Actions with guardrails

Set each action to Off, Ask or Approve. Nothing runs that you haven't allowed.

Is there an official Amplitude MCP server?

Yes. Amplitude runs a hosted MCP server, with separate US and EU addresses, for Enterprise customers and as an add-on on Plus. It can read charts and events and, with the right role, edit them. It sees Amplitude only, so campaign cost isn't part of the answer.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, that's the main reason to use Lemonado here. Amplitude knows what users do after they sign up; your ad platforms know what each click cost. Lemonado reads both, so Claude or ChatGPT can give you cost per retained user by campaign in one answer.

Connect your Amplitude project in Lemonado, turn on External tools, and add Lemonado to Claude or ChatGPT. Each guide on this page has the exact steps. Connect the Amplitude project you report from, not a dev or staging project. If your org is on Amplitude's EU data center, choose EU when you connect. Then ask something like "Among users who signed up in September, which first-week actions are most common in people still active in week 4?"

Yes. It's a standard remote MCP server (https://mcp.lemonado.io/mcp): one command in Claude Code, one entry in Cursor's mcp.json, and an MCP Client Tool with a Lemonado token in n8n. In a coding agent, try "Compare the track() calls in our repo with the events Amplitude received in the last 14 days, and list events that are sent but never arrive."

Yes. Besides answering in Claude or ChatGPT, Lemonado runs Amplitude reports and alerts on a schedule, in Slack or email. For example: "Every Monday, send last week's signups and activation rate from Amplitude by first-touch channel, with spend for each paid one."

It reads your Amplitude data. Amplitude stays untouched; the only changes Lemonado can make are in ad accounts you connect, and only once you approve them.

MCP is included in Lemonado's paid plans and in the free trial, so you can try it before you pay.
