PostHog MCP

Ask about funnels from landing page to activation in Claude, ChatGPT or any AI agent, from live PostHog data.

What is the PostHog MCP server?

Lemonado's PostHog MCP server gives Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps your PostHog data: events, funnels, persons and saved insights. Connect PostHog to Lemonado, connect Lemonado to your AI, and ask which campaigns bring users who reach the moment that matters in your product. The same connection reaches Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and Stripe, so what a signup costs and what it's worth sit in the same answer.

  • All your PostHog data

Events, pageviews and their properties, ready to ask about.

  • Always today's numbers

Persons with UTM and referrer properties, synced from PostHog automatically, so answers use today's numbers.

  • Connect all your tools

Questions like "What does an activated user cost?" use PostHog and Mixpanel, GA4 at once.

Connecting takes minutes.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Use PostHog's server if you mostly manage flags, experiments and insights inside PostHog. Use Lemonado when the question needs your ad platforms or Stripe too, like what an activated user costs by channel. You can add both to the same AI app.

Connect your PostHog project in Lemonado, turn on External tools, and add Lemonado to Claude or ChatGPT. Each guide on this page has the exact steps. Sign in to PostHog and pick the project. Choose the EU region if your PostHog lives there. Then ask something like "Show the landing page to signup to first dashboard funnel for last month, split by first-touch UTM source."

Yes. It's a standard remote MCP server (https://mcp.lemonado.io/mcp): one command in Claude Code, one entry in Cursor's mcp.json, and an MCP Client Tool with a Lemonado token in n8n. In a coding agent, try "Trace utm_source from our landing pages to the signup event in the code, and count PostHog signups last week with no source."

Yes. Besides answering in Claude or ChatGPT, Lemonado runs PostHog reports and alerts on a schedule, in Slack or email. For example: "Every Monday, send last week's PostHog signups and activated users by UTM source, with ad spend next to each paid channel."

It reads your PostHog data. PostHog stays untouched; the only changes Lemonado can make are in ad accounts you connect, and only once you approve them.

MCP is included in Lemonado's paid plans and in the free trial, so you can try it before you pay.
