Why connect Snowflake to Claude?

Your data team already modeled revenue, margin and customers in Snowflake, but most marketers still wait in a queue for each query. Through Lemonado, Claude reads those models directly, writes the SQL itself, shows it to you and lays the result out in an artifact you can share without a dashboard ticket.

  • All your Snowflake data

Tables and views your role can read, ready to ask about.

  • Always today's numbers

Column names, types and descriptions, synced from Snowflake automatically, so answers use today's numbers.

  • Connect all your tools

Questions like "What does a paying customer cost?" use Snowflake and BigQuery, GA4 at once.

    Ask Claude about Snowflake

Try "From our Snowflake customer model, split last year's new customers by first product category and show 12-month revenue for each as an artifact." Or ask: "Can you explain this model?" or "Is the dip real?"

Good to know

  • Custom connectors work on Claude Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. Free accounts can add one.
  • On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds the connector first under Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web. Members then connect their own accounts.
  • Remote connectors belong to your Claude account, so the same connection shows up in Claude Desktop and Cowork. Requests come from Anthropic's cloud, not your computer.

From our Snowflake customer model, split last year's new customers by first product category and show 12-month revenue for each as an artifact.

Done. Customers whose first order was a tent are worth $268 in year one, against $96 for those who started with socks or accessories. The artifact has the chart and the SQL behind it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Only what the role you connect with allows. Give Lemonado a read-only role on the schemas marketing should use, and Claude can query those and nothing else. Every query it runs is shown in the answer, so your data team can check the SQL.

Yes. Snowflake's managed MCP server is hosted, so Claude can use it too. It covers Snowflake only. Lemonado covers Snowflake plus your ad platforms, GA4 and the rest of your stack in one connection, so Claude can answer questions across them.

In Claude, open Customize → Connectors and check that Lemonado says Connected, then switch it on from the connectors menu in the chat. In Lemonado, check that Snowflake is connected and External tools is on for the company. If a table is missing, the role can't see it. Grant USAGE on its database and schema and SELECT on the table, then ask again.

Yes, if both are connected in Lemonado. One connection reaches every source you allow, so you can ask things like "Join first orders from Snowflake with Meta and Google Ads spend by month this year. What did each new customer cost per channel?"

MCP is included in Lemonado's paid plans and in the free trial, so you can try it before you pay.
