https://mcp.lemonado.io/mcpHave Windsurf's agent see what brand search really costs, with Google Ads data next to your code. Lemonado connects them in about 1 minute, no API keys needed.
https://mcp.lemonado.io/mcpWhy connect Google Ads to Windsurf (Devin Desktop)?
Windsurf's agent works across your files and terminal, but on its own it can't see what your campaigns are doing. Connected through Lemonado, it reads your Google Ads campaigns, search terms, PMax and budgets, so it can see what brand search really costs with today's numbers.
Your whole Google Ads account
Campaigns, ad groups, ads and assets, ready to ask about.
Always today's numbers
Performance Max asset groups, synced from Google Ads automatically, so answers use today's numbers.
Connect all your tools
Questions like "What's our real ROAS?" use Google Ads and Meta Ads, GA4 at once.

texthttps://mcp.lemonado.io/mcp - 3
Add the server (Devin Local)
Devin Desktop's default agent uses the Devin CLI config. Run these two commands and finish the browser sign-in.
bashdevin mcp add -s user lemonado https://mcp.lemonado.io/mcp devin mcp login lemonado - 4
Using legacy Cascade instead
In the Cascade panel, open … → MCPs → Open MCP config file and merge this in. Save, refresh, switch the server on and sign in.
json{ "mcpServers": { "lemonado": { "serverUrl": "https://mcp.lemonado.io/mcp" } } } - 5
Ask Windsurf (Devin Desktop) about Google Ads
Try "Compare last month's Google Ads numbers with the targets in config/targets.json and update the file where we're consistently off." Or ask: "Which terms keep wasting spend?" or "Do our UTMs match?"
Good to know
- Devin Local and legacy Cascade keep separate setups, so sign in to each one you use.
- Current versions keep user MCP config in ~/.config/devin/mcp_config.json on macOS and Linux.
What can Windsurf (Devin Desktop) do with Google Ads?
Windsurf's agent reads your Google Ads data and works the numbers into your code, from config checks to reports saved in the repo.
Compare last month's Google Ads numbers with the targets in config/targets.json and update the file where we're consistently off.
2 of 6 targets were missed three months running. I updated them in config/targets.json and left a comment with the numbers behind each change.

Write the SQL that finds search terms with spend and no conversions in the last 30 days, run it, and save it as queries/wasted_terms.sql.
Saved and run: 41 terms, $6,840. The query groups by search term and filters to zero conversions, so you can rerun it any time.

Check the UTM campaign values in our landing page links against the live Google Ads campaign names. List the ones that don't match.
4 of 31 don't match. "spring_tents" in /lp/tents.tsx points to a campaign renamed "Tents | Spring" in March, so its clicks land unattributed.

Pull daily spend and conversions by campaign for the last 90 days and save it as data/google_ads_daily.csv.
Saved 1,260 rows to data/google_ads_daily.csv: date, campaign, spend, clicks, conversions. Spend totals $84,210, matching the account.

Which search terms spent over $100 last month without a single conversion? Group them into negative keyword themes.
41 terms spent $6,840 with no conversions. Three themes cover 78% of it: "free" (12 terms), "repair" (9) and "used" (7).

How much are we paying for clicks on our own brand name, and what share of Google spend is it?
Brand search cost $3,210 last month at $0.42 a click, 22% of Google spend. We already win 96% of brand impressions, so a pause test is low risk.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, through Lemonado. Connect your Google Ads account in Lemonado, add Lemonado with devin mcp add, and Windsurf can see what brand search really costs with your live data.
You can. Google publishes an open-source Google Ads MCP server (googleads/google-ads-mcp on GitHub). It's free and read-only, but it runs locally or on your own Cloud Run and needs a Google Cloud project with OAuth credentials. In Windsurf that means setting up the Cloud project, credentials and Python yourself. Lemonado is one URL with a normal Google sign-in, and also covers your other channels.
Run devin mcp login lemonado again for Devin Local. Legacy Cascade keeps its own login, so refresh the server there and sign in too. In Lemonado, check that Google Ads is connected and External tools is on for the company. If you sign in with a manager (MCC) account, ask about a client account by name: the data sits in the client accounts, not the manager.
Yes, if both are connected in Lemonado. One connection reaches every source you allow, so you can ask things like "Put Google Ads spend next to Stripe revenue by week for the last quarter."
MCP is included in Lemonado's paid plans and in the free trial, so you can try it before you pay.
