Triple Whale vs
Northbeam
The main difference is breadth versus depth. Triple Whale is all-in-one analytics, attribution and AI agents for Shopify brands, with a free plan and setup in about a day. Northbeam is deeper measurement for big budgets: multi-touch attribution, MMM and lift tests, from $1,500 a month, with models that need 30 to 90 days to learn.

Triple Whale vs Northbeam, side by side

The key differences
Six points decide it for most brands. Nobody has run an independent accuracy test of the two, so we do not pick a winner on accuracy.
Brand size
Triple Whale has a free plan and serves brands from about $1M in revenue upward. Northbeam's plans are cut by ad spend and start with brands spending into the six figures a year. Third-party reviewers put Northbeam's sweet spot at $40M+ in revenue or $250K+ a month in spend.
Price you can see
Northbeam shows starting prices: $1,500 a month on Starter and $3,500 on Professional, with the final price set by your pageviews. Triple Whale shows no prices at all, only plan names and a walkthrough call.
Getting started
Triple Whale says most brands are live within a day, and the free plan lets you look first. Northbeam needs a DNS record for its pixel, then 30 to 60 days for its view-through models to learn. One G2 reviewer was still not set up after 29 days.
Measurement depth
Both have multi-touch attribution, MMM and incrementality. Northbeam is known for attribution: it is the top tag in its G2 reviews, and its credit never adds up to more than your total sales. Triple Whale puts MMM and lift tests in Compass, on Enterprise or as an add-on.
Everything around attribution
Triple Whale adds profit dashboards, post-purchase surveys, creative analytics, retail data from Walmart and Target, and a landing page builder. Northbeam stays focused on measurement.
AI
Triple Whale's Moby 2 agents can run Meta and Google campaigns, write creative and test landing pages, either with your approval or on autopilot within limits. Northbeam has no agent of its own, but its MCP server lets Claude or ChatGPT read its numbers on every plan.
Next to your attribution tool: what Lemonado does
Triple Whale and Northbeam tell you which channel drove the sale. Someone still has to read that every morning and act on it. Lemonado is that someone, across every ad platform and your store.
Why did revenue move? Answered in minutes
Ask why last week beat the record and Lemonado pulls Meta, Google, seasonality and last year into one answer, with a forecast. It works from your own data, not a guess.
Problems caught before they burn budget
Routines watch CPA, spend and ROAS across every account and flag anomalies in Slack before they burn budget, with what caused them.
Fixes made, with your approval
In Google Ads, Lemonado can do anything you can: campaigns, bids, budgets, keywords and ads. Across platforms it rebalances budgets every Monday. You approve each change and get the changelog.
Creative that wears out gets flagged
Creatives shows hook scores and fatigue on every ad, across Meta, TikTok, Google, Pinterest and Snapchat, so you brief the next winner before CPA moves.
Three drivers. Creative fatigue is the biggest.

The tools in detail
Lemonado is the AI co-worker for marketing. It connects your ad platforms, store and analytics, explains why results moved, flags problems in Slack and makes the fixes you approve.
Best for: Brands and agencies who have the numbers but not the hours to act on them every day.
Where it falls down: It is not an attribution pixel or an MMM. If you need modeled multi-touch attribution, keep one of these next to it.
- You want spend, CPA and creative fatigue checked every day.
- You want hook scores and competitor ads across every platform.
- You run several brands or clients.
- You want answers in Slack, Teams, ChatGPT or Claude.
Triple Whale
Triple Whale gives ecommerce brands their own pixel, attribution, profit dashboards and creative analytics, plus Moby AI agents that can run campaigns. It has a free plan.
Best for: Shopify and DTC brands that want one tool for their numbers.
Where it falls down: Built for ecommerce, no public prices, and MMM only on Enterprise or as an add-on.
- You run on Shopify or another ecommerce platform.
- You want to start free.
- You want AI agents that act on Meta and Google.
Northbeam
Northbeam measures ecommerce marketing with a first-party pixel on your own domain, multi-touch attribution, MMM and incrementality tests. Plans are set by ad spend and start at $1,500 a month.
Best for: DTC brands spending heavily across many ad channels.
Where it falls down: Demo only, a 30 to 90 day ramp before every model is ready, and pricey for smaller brands.
- Attribution depth is your top priority.
- You want MMM and lift tests from the same vendor.
- You have someone to own the setup.
Questions
