Why connect Search Console to Cursor?

In Cursor your pages are files. With Search Console connected through Lemonado, the agent knows which of them rank, which compete for the same query and which lost clicks, so it can propose the exact edits.

  • All your Search Console data

    Queries and pages, ready to ask about.

  • Always today's numbers

    Countries and devices, synced from Search Console automatically, so answers use today's numbers.

  • Connect all your tools

    Questions like "Are we paying for free clicks?" use Search Console and GA4, Google Ads at once.

    https://mcp.lemonado.io/mcp
  3. 3

    Open your MCP config

    Open ~/.cursor/mcp.json for every project, or .cursor/mcp.json for this project only. Create the file if it doesn't exist.

  4. 4

    Add Lemonado

    Merge this into the file and save.

    json
    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "lemonado": {
          "url": "https://mcp.lemonado.io/mcp"
        }
      }
    }
  5. 5

    Sign in

    Cursor asks you to sign in to Lemonado. Approve access, then ask the agent about your data.

  6. 6

    Ask Cursor about Search Console

    Try "Which posts in content/blog compete for the same queries in Search Console? Suggest which to merge and add the redirects." Or ask: "Which titles lose clicks?" or "Which sitemap pages get nothing?"

Good to know

  • Editing the file directly avoids relying on menu labels that change between Cursor versions.

What can Cursor do with Search Console?

Cursor's agent reads your Search Console data while it edits: it fills components with real data, checks tracking code and writes the analysis next to your code.

Which posts in content/blog compete for the same queries in Search Console? Suggest which to merge and add the redirects.

4 pairs compete. The biggest, "best-2-person-tent" and "2-person-tent-guide", split 9,800 impressions. I merged them and added a 301 in next.config.js.

Frequently Asked Questions

Connect your Search Console property in Lemonado, then add the Lemonado server to ~/.cursor/mcp.json and sign in. Cursor's agent can then query queries, pages and positions next to your code.

Open Cursor's settings and find lemonado in the MCP list. A red dot or a sign-in prompt means the login expired. Restart Cursor after editing mcp.json. In Lemonado, check that Google Search Console is connected and External tools is on for the company. Search Console data runs about two days behind, so the last couple of days will look empty. Also check you picked the domain property if that's the one you use.

Yes, if both are connected in Lemonado. One connection reaches every source you allow, so you can ask things like "Which Google Ads keywords do we already rank top 3 for organically?"

MCP is included in Lemonado's paid plans and in the free trial, so you can try it before you pay.
