Why connect LinkedIn Ads to Claude Code?

LinkedIn reports leads, not revenue. Claude Code reads LinkedIn Ads through Lemonado, joins it with the CRM or Stripe data in your project and shows cost per customer, not just cost per lead.

  • Your whole LinkedIn Ads account

Campaign groups, campaigns and ads, ready to ask about.

  • Always today's numbers

Spend, impressions, clicks and CTR, synced from LinkedIn Ads automatically, so answers use today's numbers.

  • Connect all your tools

Questions like "LinkedIn or Google for leads?" use LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads, Meta Ads at once.

How to connect LinkedIn Ads to Claude Code

Before you start

  • A LinkedIn Ads account you can sign in to
  • Claude Code installed
  • A Lemonado account (the free trial works)

    Connect LinkedIn Ads in Lemonado

In Lemonado, open Connectors, find LinkedIn Ads and sign in. Choose the Campaign Manager ad accounts you want. Your LinkedIn user needs at least Viewer access to each.

  2. 2

    Turn on external access

In the company's settings, open External tools, turn the connection on, choose which sources it can reach and copy the server URL.

    text
    https://mcp.lemonado.io/mcp
  3. 3

    Add the server

With Claude Code installed, run one of these in your terminal. Most people want the first: it adds Lemonado to every project.

    bash
    # every project (recommended)
claude mcp add --scope user --transport http lemonado https://mcp.lemonado.io/mcp

    # this project only
claude mcp add --transport http lemonado https://mcp.lemonado.io/mcp
  4. 4

Start Claude Code with claude and run /mcp. Choose Lemonado and finish the sign-in in your browser.

    bash
    claude
    /mcp
  5. 5

Ask Claude Code about LinkedIn Ads

Ask a question about the accounts your connection can reach. Claude Code can also write the numbers into a file or a script for you. Try "Join LinkedIn lead form leads by campaign with data/crm_deals.csv on email domain and save cost per closed deal by campaign." Or ask: "Do all campaigns carry UTMs?" or "Is the Insight Tag working?"

Good to know

  • The command uses Claude Code's default local scope. Use --scope user to share the server across projects.

What can Claude Code do with LinkedIn Ads?

Claude Code queries your LinkedIn Ads data while it works in your repo: it saves data as files, checks tracking against code and runs headless with claude -p.
