Why connect Pipedrive to n8n?

n8n runs on triggers and schedules, so a question you ask once can become a check that runs every morning. Connected through Lemonado, it reads your Pipedrive deals, pipelines, activities and persons, so it can find deals with no next step with today's numbers.

  • All your Pipedrive data

Deals, values, stages and pipelines, ready to ask about.

  • Always today's numbers

Activities: calls, meetings and tasks, synced from Pipedrive automatically, so answers use today's numbers.

  • Connect all your tools

Questions like "What does a won deal cost?" use Pipedrive and HubSpot, Attio at once.

How to connect Pipedrive to n8n

Before you start

  • A Pipedrive account you can sign in to
  • n8n installed
  • A Lemonado account (the free trial works)
  1. 1

    Connect Pipedrive in Lemonado

In Lemonado, open Connectors, find Pipedrive and sign in. Sign in with a Pipedrive user who can see every pipeline you want in reports. Users with limited visibility only share their own deals.

  2. 2

    Turn on external access

In the company's settings, open External tools, turn the connection on, choose which sources it can reach and copy the server URL.

    https://mcp.lemonado.io/mcp
  3. 3

    Create a token in Lemonado

In External tools, open your connection's guide, choose n8n, pick an expiry and click Generate Token. Copy it.

  4. 4

    Add the MCP Client Tool

In your workflow, add an AI Agent node, then add an MCP Client Tool under its tools. Use node version 1.1 or later; version 1 only speaks SSE.

  5. 5

    Configure it

Set the endpoint to the server URL, the transport to HTTP Streamable (pick it yourself on node version 1.1, which defaults to SSE) and authentication to Bearer Auth. Create a Bearer Auth credential and paste the raw token, without a "Bearer " prefix.

    https://mcp.lemonado.io/mcp
  6. 6

    Test and save

Test the connection, save the workflow and ask the agent about your data.

  7. 7

    Ask n8n about Pipedrive

Try "Every morning at 8, check yesterday's Pipedrive numbers and post anything unusual to #marketing." Or ask: "Which deals have no next step?" or "What did the week bring?"

Good to know

  • If the MCP Client Tool only shows an SSE Endpoint field, it's the version 1 node: replace it with a newer one. Keep the /mcp URL and choose HTTP Streamable.
  • Regenerating a token in Lemonado invalidates the old one, so update n8n when you do.

What can n8n do with Pipedrive?

n8n's AI Agent reads your Pipedrive data on a trigger or a schedule, then posts, logs or files the result in the next node.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, through Lemonado. Connect your Pipedrive company account in Lemonado, add Lemonado as an MCP Client Tool on an n8n AI Agent node, and n8n can find deals with no next step with your live data.

Yes. Pipedrive's MCP server is hosted, so n8n can use it too. It covers Pipedrive only. Lemonado covers Pipedrive plus your ad platforms, GA4 and the rest of your stack in one connection, so n8n can answer questions across them.

Use Test step on the MCP Client Tool. A 401 means the token expired or was regenerated, so paste a new one into the Bearer credential. In Lemonado, check that Pipedrive is connected and External tools is on for the company. If deals are missing, check the user's visibility group in Pipedrive. Lemonado sees exactly what that user can see.

Yes, if both are connected in Lemonado. One connection reaches every source you allow, so you can ask things like "Deals won from Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads this quarter, set against what we spent on each."

MCP is included in Lemonado's paid plans and in the free trial, so you can try it before you pay.
