Before embracing Lemonado, how was analytics handled at WorkTripp?
Manually, using GSheets! I was spoiled at the previous companies I worked at, and I've really felt the lack of great analytics tools as we built our start-up - so this is a huge step forward for us.
What was it like adopting Lemonado?
Much easier than expected. Our platform is built on ShareTribe, so the integration with that data feed was simple to set up. We automatically got dashboards to better understand our customers and sellers, then I played around with my own visualisations.
What are the primary functions you utilize Lemonado for at WorkTripp?
Lemonado is our central hub for KPI dashboards, making metrics reporting super easy. It keeps us focused on the numbers that matter and our progress to achieving them, as well as seeing monthly trends over time.
Are there anything that stands out?
The automated dashboards have been a game-changer. The way they link data, like connecting user profiles to transactions, has simplified things for us tremendously.
We also have custom data in JSON format, which I assumed would be a complete pain to get out. The Lemonado team showed me how easy it was to set up and now I get the full picture - which for a multi-sided marketplace is really amazing!

Everyone on the team has access to the data, so there’s full transparency. And we set up certain views our investors can access too.
Are the things missing?
Well, it is still a relatively new tool, so it doesn't do everything. However, we've seen it evolving already and the team is really responsive to feedback - which is so important.
